Beginning on May 10th, help the Village of Minster and Auglaize County support those that serve and protect us. The week of May 10th through the 16th, has been designated “Let’s Back the Blue” week in the Village of Minster and Auglaize County. The “Let’s Back the Blue” initiative is designed to honor and show support to the men and women of the law enforcement community in Auglaize County who often sacrifice so much to keep us safe.
Mayor, Dennis Kitzmiller has proclaimed the week ”Let’s Back the Blue” week and encourages residents of the village to display a visible sign of support for law enforcement. This can include installing a blue porch light which is lit throughout the evening hours that week; hanging a blue ribbon around a flag pole or porch post; or making a sign or flag to display outside. The objective of the “Let’s Back the Blue” initiative is to show support and to provide an emotional boost to our law enforcement officers.
The Village has a wonderful and dedicated group of individuals serving our community and we want to extend our deepest thanks to them. Those folks include Chief David Friend, Sergeant Brian Drexler, Officers Adam Bergman, Eric Morris, Bryan Koesters, Ben Bonvillian and Adam Krouskop along with administrative assistant Rachel Ranly. It is this dedicated group that keeps our community safe.
